Ramoji Film City is an integrated film studio facility located in Hyderabad, India. Spread over 1,666 acres (674 ha) it is the largest film studio complex in the world and as such has been certified by the Guinness World Records.It was established by Telugu media tycoon Ramoji Rao in 1996.
The kingdom of Mahishmati can easily be described as a modern-day marvel. Rajamouli’s Baahubali completely surprised the audience with its larger than life scale and now, the audience can visit this sprawling city in real life as well. The sets of Baahubali were erected at the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad and the production designer of the film, Sabu Cyril, deserves much credit for the same. The palaces, the statutes, and the overall architecture of the fictional city was constructed keeping in mind the tiniest details of the film and since the film has created history, Ramoji Film City has decided to preserve these sets and turn them into tourist attractions.
The sets of the film are sprawled across 100 acres and the fans of the film can now visit them and experience the world of Baahubali.
